properties listed on aha’s Reservation web site, you should not assume that the information provided is always current or that this site contains all the relevant information.

The user hereby consents to receiving communications from aha electronically and agrees that all agreements, Notices, disclosures and other communications sent by aha satisfies any legal requirements including the requirement that such communication should be in writing.

Reservation Guarantees, deposits and payments
The credit card is debited for the full stay at the time of reservation.
Online bookings will be secured once your card is transacted with 100% pre-payment
Items not included in this quotation will be charged for in addition
Your online pre-payment must clear in the property’s bank account prior to arrival
Nedbank (iVeri) and First National Bank (FNB) Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) disclaimer
The booker confirms that by entering his/her profile number, PIN and password he/she has authenticated his/herself as the person that is authorized to debit his/her account with the amounts of the transactions and hereby instructs Nedbank to pay such amounts to the third parties that he/she has nominated via the systems. The booker further confirms and agrees that he/she shall not be entitled to countermand or amend such instruction once Nedbank has received and implemented the said payment instruction and that the payment instruction is subject to the Nedbank terms and conditions of use, to which he/she is bound. The booker confirms that the purchase of all services (“the goods”) constitutes an agreement between him/her and the third party suppliers (“suppliers”) and agrees that all his/her rights and remedies with respect to his/her order, purchase, possession and use of the goods and liability as well as any other obligations related to the goods, if any, shall be subject to the applicable terms and conditions of the suppliers. The booker also confirms that Nedbank is not a party to any such agreements and has no responsibility or obligation in regard to the agreements other than to effect payment to the supplier as duly instructed and that he/she shall have no right of recourse against Nedbank. Appropriate risk mitigating measures need to be taken to counter the possibility of fraudulent transactions.
Detailed description of goods and/or services
aha a division of Tourvest Holdings (Pty) Limited is a business in the tourism industry that provides accommodation .
Cancellation Policy:
Hotels:
- 28-15 days or more prior to arrival 50% cancellation fees
- 14-1 days prior to arrival 80% cancellation fees
- No Show 100% cancellation fees
Lodges & Resorts:
- 60-30 days or more prior to arrival 50% cancellation fees
- 29-15 days prior to arrival 75% cancellation fees
- 14-01/ No Show days prior to arrival 100% cancellation fees.
The guest is responsible to manage the reservation made. The guest’s payment agreement with aha Hotels & Lodges applies to this booking. Failure to cancel a reservation (both provisional and guaranteed) will result in the relevant cancelation fees applied. This booking does not cancel automatically if not released by the guest.
No Shows
- Off Peak and Peak: 100% of the full stay is applicable as the no-show charge.
Customer Privacy policy
aha a division of Tourvest Holdings (Pty) Limited shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the aha a division of Tourvest Holdings (Pty) Limited bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for aha a division of Tourvest Holdings (Pty) Limited via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by aha a division of Tourvest Holdings (Pty) Limited separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
aha a division of Tourvest Holdings (Pty) Limited takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and aha a division of Tourvest Holdings (Pty) Limited chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, Postnet Suite 203, Private Bag X43, Sunninghill, 2157
Variation
aha a division of Tourvest Holdings (Pty) Limited may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
